My name is Stacey Linton, I’m a registered psychologist and board-approved supervisor with over 10 years of experience. But more than that, I’m someone who believes deeply in the power of feeling seen, safe, and supported. Especially when life feels overwhelming (which let’s be real…isn’t that just everyone, all the time right now?)
I created Sit With Me Psychology to offer a space that’s warm, welcoming, and grounded in real human connection. There is nothing artificial or fake in my office, except the plant.
I know that taking the step to see a psychologist can feel big, scary, and super out of your comfort zone. So I do my best to make the experience as comfortable, relaxed, and empowering as possible.
My approach is friendly, compassionate, non-judgmental, and collaborative. This is your space, you are in the drivers seat. I am just hoping to be your GPS and help guide you along the way, to the destination of your choice.

experience and values
I’ve worked across schools, employment services, and allied health leadership, and have delivered mental health workshops and training in multiple sectors.
I’m especially passionate about challenging diet culture and empowering people, particularly women, to take up space, trust their bodies, and rebuild self-worth with compassion. I advocate for equality and hold deep respect for the resilience of those affected by trauma, systemic injustice, or intimate partner abuse.
My practice is rooted in compassion, choice, dignity, and a belief that everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and empowered, no matter their history or identity.
